Sharing experiences at our production site

As part of our commitment to supporting the education and development of young talent, we recently had the pleasure of welcoming three students studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the University Institute of Technology (IUT) in Saint-Brieuc. It was an enriching and inspiring experience for these future engineers.

During their 30-minute visit, the students had the opportunity to talk with our Design Office Manager, Mathieu, and Clément, an engineer at the Design Office, who are key members of our development team. What made this meeting even more special was that our representatives are themselves former students of the same course in Saint-Brieuc. This return to their roots allowed for an authentic sharing of experiences, based on a common background.

An exchange at the heart of innovation

During this meeting, students were able to ask questions about the daily challenges faced by a design office manager, learn about the technical requirements of the armoured vehicle conversion industry, and understand the importance of innovation in materials management. Mathieu and Clément shared their own career paths with them, from their studies to their current roles, highlighting the essential skills to develop and the many opportunities offered by our industry.

Supporting the next generation

At Centigon France, we firmly believe that sharing experiences between professionals and students is crucial to building the future of our industry. These exchanges not only enable the transfer of expertise, but also inspire and guide the next generation of talent towards promising careers.

An initiative worth repeating

We hope to be able to increase this type of initiative in the future by strengthening our collaboration with educational institutions such as the IUT in Saint-Brieuc. We would like to thank the students for their visit, as well as Mathieu for his time and contribution to this enriching exchange.
