Internal Security: Centigon France’s RAVEN unveiled at the Côtes-d’Armor prefecture
nternal Security: Léo Rohmer, President of Centigon France, presented the RAVEN, his latest armored vehicle, on September 18, 2026, at the Côtes-d’Armor prefecture. This presentation, arranged by Mr. François de Keréver, Prefect of Côtes-d’Armor, brought together representatives from the National Police and National Gendarmerie, the SDIS 22 (fire and rescue service), the departmental military delegation (DMD), and the prefecture’s security services.
Designed and manufactured in Lamballe-Armor, the RAVEN showcases Brittany’s industrial know-how in service of protecting law enforcement and emergency response personnel. The vehicle was designed to equip the specialized intervention units of the BRI and RAID.
Although the vehicle is not intended for the department’s domestic security forces, it was worthwhile to involve them in this presentation to give them insight into current technical developments in the field of public order. Moreover, some police officers and gendarmerie personnel may eventually work with this type of equipment in future postings.
The RAVEN in brief
Built on a Ford F-600 chassis, the RAVEN is an armored vehicle weighing nearly 10 tonnes, designed by Centigon France under a framework contract with the Ministry of the Interior to equip the specialized intervention units RAID and BRI. Its ballistic protection and payload capacity make it a rapid-deployment asset for high-risk operations, while also offering a modular platform adaptable to the operational needs of domestic security forces. Unveiled to the public at the Eurosatory 2026 trade show, it embodies the expertise of Centigon France, based in Lamballe-Armor for nearly 80 years, in the design and manufacture of armored vehicles intended to protect law enforcement and intervention forces.
This presentation reflects the commitment to maintaining a strong link between local industry and our security forces. It also underscores the role of our technical expertise in serving the safety of our fellow citizens.
